Pre loved goods

Welcome to Restore, where shopping takes on a whole new meaning. At Restore, we’re more than just a second-hand store; we’re a place of dignity and compassion. Our mission is simple yet profound: to provide a dignified shopping experience for clothing, linen, and kitchenware while making a difference in our community

For those who generously donate their gently used items, Restore offers a space to extend the life of pre-loved possessions. It’s a place where your unwanted items find new purpose and a chance to bring joy to someone else’s life.

For those in search of affordable essentials, Restore is a haven. We believe that quality doesn’t have to come at a high price. In our store, you’ll discover a wide range of clothing, linens, kitchenware and kids toys with items priced as low as R5. We want to ensure that everyone, regardless of their budget, has access to the essentials they need.

But Restore is more than just a store; it’s a place where compassion meets sustainability. It’s a community of people who care, coming together to create positive change. Every purchase you make at Restore contributes to our mission of alleviating poverty and fostering a sense of dignity within our community.

Rest assured, every cent raised at Restore goes directly back to helping people affected by poverty. Join us at Restore and experience shopping with a purpose. Together, we’re restoring not only gently used items but also hope, dignity, and opportunity for those in need.

Dignity Day

BranchOut held their first Dignity Day Facilitator Training on Saturday 2 September. There were 18 ladies from Riverside who attended the training. The training was done by Crystal from The Dignity Campaign.

Some of the stories...

The Dignity Programme was a revelation on the need young girls have, in understanding the change in their bodies as young woman. I am super excited to get involved and make an impact on these young girls’ lives through all the resources we were given.
I was truly blessed by the course and how informative it was on how to have a positive impact on young girls' lives. I am looking forward to getting involved and seeing how the Lord is going to use the wonderful amazing ladies he has put together 😁😊as we wait upon his guidance πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»
”Truly an eye opening experience. Definitely have a better understanding on how to approach certain topics that would help restore dignity to young woman and woman in general, regardless of age or background. Can’t wait to be part of making a difference with all the knowledge gained from the training”
I was involved in a few Dignity Days before Covid hit & always found myself loving the program & the incredible ways that it helps to empower young ladies. Being a part of the training was a wonderful time of equipping & interacting with other amazing Dignity Day volunteers. It made me excited for our future programs & all the ways we will impact the young ladies in Johannesburg!
The Dignity training was more than I expected. I enjoyed the training very much and I especially appreciated how the training started with sections on identity, belonging and purpose. This helps the young girls know that God created them to be special and they recognize that He truly loves them, despite what others may say about them.
The Dignity Day training that I went to really opened my eyes and showed me how so many of us are privileged to go to school/work and not have to worry about our periods. It is so heartbreaking to see what young girls have to through at such a young age and I really cannot wait to help these girls and let them know they are not alone and that they can come to us as their safe space.
